YOUR BUSINESS SUPER POWER

It’s All About Confidence

Many different situations in life can lower our self-confidence, from uncertainty in business, to feeling unbalanced in awkward social situations. The more we think we know, the more shocking it is when what we know doesn’t work for us. And when others get results, it’s doubly shocking.

Self Confidence As A Lens

When it comes to self-confidence, we can look at it as a lens to see all business activities through. Why do we like to buy makeup, or that designer purse? Why do we want that specific car? Because we are being sold self-confidence. In business, whether you’re talking about what you’re selling, how you’re selling it, or leading and managing your sales force and employees – you have to understand that you’re in the business of self-confidence. You and your company are a source of confidence to people. Success in business is about confidence.

The Currency Of Confidence

The currency of human beings is confidence. So many things in life can rob us of our self-confidence. And how you feel in your body can impact your mental and emotional state, which impacts your level of self-confidence. When your self-confidence gets shaken, you feel uncertain, uneasy – all negative emotions. But when you feel complete and whole, you’re 100% self-confident.

80/20 Rule

The 80/20 rule states that 20% of people will do 80% of the work and reap 80% of the results. This rule can be applied to almost any situation, from business to relationships.

The Tools To Self Confidence

1. Be The Source
Don’t be a self-confidence vampire. Be the source of self-confidence to others.

2. Learn To Admire Beauty
Not just physical beauty. Learn to admire beauty where it exists. Pay compliments to what you find beautiful.

3. Put Into Perspective How Important You Are
Count your winnings and always be your biggest cheerleader. There will always be obstacles in life, and learning to overcome them can be one of the biggest confidence boosters. Self criticism will bring your confidence down, so remember to give yourself a pat on the back and acknowledge your accomplishments.
