Trying Versus Doing

born to prosper - trying vs doing

How do you know if you’re really going for it? Today, we’re talking about trying versus doing on the Industry Insider. We’re excited about this topic! It really gets to the core of what we do.

When you’re good at something and you’re trying to work with someone to actually do it, it can be frustrating. They’re trying, but they’re not doing it!

What’s the difference?

Building your multi millions of dollars fortune, creating the lifestyle you want.

I’ve watched people try and I’ve also watched people just quietly do it. We think we’ve tuned into a few key differences over the years that we can quickly identify whether they’re trying or doing it.

If you haven’t hit the success level you want, pay attention, because some of this will apply to you. Most of us do more trying than actual doing. Knowing the difference helps us become much more successful.

All-encompassing resolve and commitment

The first big goal Rachel set was to be a seven-figure annual earner.

When you’re not actually out there doing it, you need to be thinking about it, training, and practicing. In our business, we do a lot of training, place a lot of ads, spend a lot of time doing in order to consistently get success. Prepare to fail more than the next guy. Do more than the next guy.

People in general are not happy unless they’re creating the future they want to create.

Not everyone will do world-class, mind-bending, crazy feats that no one has ever done before, but all of us CAN do more than we’re doing now. We all CAN achieve our dreams. I

It’s not exciting enough to recreate what you’ve done in the past. Pick something REALLY exciting and something that you will work for, something that will become an all-encompassing goal. Make your goal more exciting!

Some people feel like they already know how to do it. They skip the instructions, skip steps, and don’t even realie what they don’t know. Stay humble—humble yourself and become a student. By course correcting in this way ,you can get better results.

You can try to be the stereotypical fast-talking sales person, or you can choose to be a leader instead—a leader and a constant learner.

There’s also a simplicity to everything. You don’t have to complicate anything. Just take it one step at a time and really try to push ahead without overcomplicating your tasks. When you overcomplicate things, it starts to feel impossible when it truly isn’t.

If you’re a marketer, place ads each day. If you’re trying to improve a certain skill, do it every day. That’s how you DO. That’s how you create success with small steps and realistic goals.

When you do instead of trying, it’s not a race to the result. It’s just doing what you can ad doing a little more, or a little better, each day until you’re in the place you want to be.
