Some people live and breathe by statistics, but not us! We believe that statistics only mean what you allow them to mean. You can live your life based on statistics—which might not be in your favor— or you can choose to sway the outcome in your favor instead! There are an unlimited number of ways to do this. There are so many small ways you can put in effort and give yourself a better shot.

I (Shane) am so glad I had the courage, 21 years ago, to take a step and start my own business. I NEVER would have imagined this would be my real lifestyle now in 2019. And, I never would have thought I would make this money, take these vacations, or live in this house.

Most people stick to what’s “normal” and they give themselves a “ceiling” of $80,000, $100,000, or $200,000 per year. I want to play on a different level. I want to reach the limits of what’s possible.

So, let’s get into the statistics! Did you know that…

• 7,200 people in the US start their own home-based business each day. That’s a lot of people!
• $427 billion is made each year by home based businesses. Almost half a trillion dollars!
• There are approximately 38 million home-based businesses in the USA.
• 70% of American home-based businesses succeed in 3 years, vs. 30% of regular businesses.
• 47% of employees in the US are employed by a small business.

And a bonus statistic that should give you some extra motivation:

• 20% of home based businesses make $100,000 to $500,000 per year!

It’s an exciting time to be alive! You don’t have to trade your life to a big corporation anymore. You can be a freelancer, you can be in online sales, you can be an entrepreneur or solopreneur. It’s a market in itself, and it’s growing! This emerging sector is a huge opportunity for all of us.

What’s needed to be an entrepreneur or solopreneur? You need to have drive, goals, and the passion to propel yourself out there. You need self-motivation and focus. WE support ALL of these needs with our personal development resources.
